Our History
Pro Inspection’s services and expertise were demanded in the American Market. Pro Inspection’s new president James Milner is directing Pro TPI Inc using the same great inspectors and trusted contractors expanding Pro into the United States of America.
Pro Inspection Ltd. expanded its services to include steel line pipe manufacturing surveillance and inspection services in Western Canada. Building a reputation that began to speak for itself, surveilling and auditing manufacturing facilities.
Handling in shop and field coating inspection of piping, component structures, tubular inventory condition and more. Pro is who you call to inspect your material to ensure it is made to your specifications. Providing qualified, and trained technical inspectors for projects of all sizes.
Pro Inspection Ltd. was incorporated by founder Barry Steffen. He had a dream to provide professional pipe and coating inspection services to environmentally sensitive projects in the Canadian Oil and Gas Industry.
Safety First
We have a certified background by COR safety, ISNetworld, Complyworks, WCB and Alberta Construction Safety Association, inspecting all types of coatings, line pipe and oil country tubular goods.
Our experience includes surveillance/auditing at manufacturing facilities, in-shop and field coating inspection of piping, components and structures, auditing of third party NDT (Non Destructive Testing), welding inspection, metallurgy, coating inspection, API and premium threading inspection, tubular inventory condition and quantity evaluations, handling and loading inspection of coated products, vendor qualification and evaluation auditing, product tracking and tractability including bar-coding. Inspection services are provided by highly qualified and extremely competent technical inspectors, fully conversant with the International codes and standards and familiar with legislative requirements.
